  “Justice cannot be for one side alone, but must be for both.” — Eleanor Roosevelt Crime and punishment are very important topics in every society because they show how we deal with justice, rules, and human behavior. A crime is any illegal action, such as robbery, fraud, or murder, while punisment is the consequence or penalty people receive for breaking the law. The main goal of punishment is to protect citizens, maintain peace, and prevent future crimes. However, people around the world have different opinions about what kind of punishment is fair or effective. There are many reasons why people commit crimes. Some individuals are influenced by poverty, lack of education, or difficult life circumstances. Others act out of anger, jealousy, or greed. When people don’t have opportunities or positive examples, they can easily make bad decisions. That is why understanding the causes of crime is so important, because only then can we find better ways to prevent it, not jus...

 I believe this topic is very important because social media has become one of the main sources of information today. Many people believe everything they see online without checking if it’s true or not. Developing critical thinking helps us question messages, understand their purpose, and identify when someone is trying to influence our opinions. Media literacy is not just about reading or watching content; it’s about analyzing it. We must learn to ask: Who created this message? Why was it shared? What emotion does it try to produce? When we understand these things, we become more independent thinkers and less vulnerable to manipulation. In my opinion, social media can be a powerful tool for learning and communication, but only if we use it wisely. Thinking critically allows us to choose reliable information, avoid fake news, and express our ideas with respect and awareness in the digital world.
